1 BEGIN TAI CHI
Facing North, stand with feet together, hands by the side. Head straight like a string is attached to the crown of the head suspended from the ceiling. Drop the shoulders and relax. Shift weight to the right foot and move left foot to the side, shoulder width apart. Shift weight to both feet. Raise both arms to shoulder height. When rising, imagine that there are balloons tied to both hands until the palms are at the waist height with elbows bent. Push down balloons when lowering. Bend the knees.

2 PART HORSES MANE - LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT
Left - Drop both palms outward at waist level. Turn slightly to the right, right palm on top of left as if holding a ball. Move the left foot closer to the right on the left toe . Left foot, step forward to West. At the same time, move the left hand in a curve with the palm up until the left hand fingertips are at the shoulder level. Move the right hand back with the palm down. Shift forward until left knee is above the left toe.

Right - Shift the weight back to the right foot. Move the hands around so that the left palm is above the right palm as if holding a ball. Move the right foot beside the left on the right toe. Step the right foot forward. At the same time, move the right hand in a curve with the palm up, move the left hand back with the palm down.

Left - Shift the weight back to the left foot. Move the hands around so that the right palm is above the left palm as if holding a ball. Move the left foot beside the right on the left toe. Step the left foot forward. At the same time, move the left hand in a curve with the palm up, move the right hand back with the palm down.

3 WHITE STORK DISPLAYS ITS WINGS
Move the right foot half step toward the left foot, weight on the left foot, on the right toe. Move both hands in front, left palm above the right holding a big ball, dropping the elbows and with the waist move slightly to the left.
Shift weight to the right foot with the knee bent, move the waist slightly to the right. Move the right arm up, move left hand down to guard the left waist and with the palm facing down. Move the left foot slightly forward and in empty stand (no weight) with the toes pointing down.

4 BRUSH KNEE - RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT
LEFT - Right hand pushing out move the right hand down and across the face, palm facing inward until chest level, then over to the right, palm facing up. Move the left hand to the right above the right hand holding a ball. Step left foot forward shifting weight on the left foot. At the same time, move the left hand down as if it is brushing the left knee. Push the right hand out with the palm facing forward.
LEFT - Shift weight to the left, turn to the right. Move the left hand to the right above the right hand holding a ball. Step left foot forward shifting weight on the left foot. At the same time, move the left hand down as if it is brushing the left knee. Push the right hand out with the palm facing forward.

5 PLAYING THE PIPA
Carry forward weight on left foot, raise the right foot, place right foot back, shift the weight to the right foot. Move the waist slightly to the right. The right hand follows backward, pal facing inward and the left hand moves forward and up, higher than the right hand, bend at the elbow. Raise the left foot, and place heel down, weight 80% on right foot.

6 STEP BACK - REPULSE MONKEY - RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT
STEP BACK (1) Move the right hand down with palm up to waist height. Left hand out to shoulder height with palm up, right hand down to the waist, palm up and reach back until shoulder height. Raise the left foot, Push the right hand forward past the right ear, pull the left hand back with the right palm sliding over the left palm. Step left foot backward in a curve, past the right foot, toe on the floor. Shift weight to the left foot as you push the right hand forward, palms facing out, pull left hand back to waist level, palm up.
STEP BACK (2) Both hands, palm up, left hand back, right hand forward to shoulder height Raise the right foot. Push the left hand forward past the left ear, pull the right hand back with palms sliding over each other. Step right foot backward in a curve, past the left foot, toe on the floor Shift weight to the right foot as you push the left hand forward, palms facing out, pull right hand back to waist level, palm up.
STEP BACK (3) Both hands, palm up, right hand back, left hand forward to shoulder height Raise the left foot. Push the right hand forward past the right ear, pull the left hand back with palms sliding over each other. Step left foot backward in a curve, past the right foot, toe on the floor Shift weight to the left foot as you push the right hand forward, palms facing out, pull left hand back to waist level, palm up.

7 GRASP BIRDS TAIL - LEFT
Turn body North, left foot back- step on the left toe. Bring left arm in front, elbow bent at waist, palm up, right arm bent at elbow, palm own above left elbow. Turn to the West, step forward with the left foot, raise the left arm up and pull the right hand back in a curve over the left arm, stop at the waist with the right palm facing down.

8 GRASP BIRDS TAIL - RIGHT
Both hands, palms down, turn left toe to the NorthEast as you shift weigh to the right foot. Move your arms to the East as your body turns and shift weight to the left foot. Make a large ball in front of you, right hand up, left hand down., bring right foot on the toe beside the left foot. Turn to the East, step forward with the right foot, raise the right arm up and pull the left hand back in a curve over the left arm, stop at the waist with the right palm facing down. Pull back, press forward, push.

9 SINGLE WHIP
Both hands palm down, shift weight to the right foot, turn body and both hands to the West. Shift weight to the left foot, turn right toe to NorthWest. Bring both hands back, shift weight to the Right foot, on your Left foot toe grab with your right hand. Turn West left hand palm facing you, step forward with your left foot, turn left palm out and push left hand forward.

10 WAVE HANDS LIKE CLOUDS- THREE TIMES
Cloud Hands (1) Shift the weight to the right foot, pivot left heel until the toe is pointing to North. Lower the left hand and move across the lower part of the body with the waist turning to face NorthEast. Open the palm on the right hand. Move the left hand up and watch the palm as it moves in front of you, bring the right hand down. Shift the weight to the left foot. As the left hand reaches shoulder height turn the palm facing down. As right hand raises at left shoulder height, turn the palm facing you and follow the palm as it moves to the right. As the right hand and your body face North, move Right foot beside your Left foot
Cloud Hand (2) As you shift the weight to the right foot, as the right hand turns to the East turn the palm facing down. As left hand raises at right shoulder height, turn the palm facing you and follow the palm as it moves to the left. As the left hand and your body face North, step left with your left foot.
Cloud Hand (3) Shift the weight to the left foot. As the left hand reaches shoulder height turn the palm facing down. As right hand raises at left shoulder height, turn the palm facing you and follow the palm as it moves to the right. As the right hand and your body face North, move Right foot beside your Left foot

11 SINGLE WHIP
As the right hand goes past North, grasp. As your left hand rises in front of your face, shift your weight to the right and go on your left toe. Turn East, left hand palm facing you, step forward with your left foot, turn left palm out and push left hand forward

12 HIGH PAT ON HORSE
Move the right foot half step forward, turn both palms facing up. Turn the head to look at the right palm. Sit back on the right foot. Push right hand close by the ear and push forward with the palm facing out and fingers pointing up. Pull back the left hand passing under right hand then down to left waist. Left foot on the toe.

13 HEEL KICK RIGHT
Circle right hand to the right, left hand to the left, palms facing out, step forward left foot, as the hands come up in front, palms facing you and cross hands, left hand in, right hand out. Move both hands facing out, circle right hand to the right, left hand to the left, lift the right knee. Push left hand back and right hand forward, at the same time, kick forward with the right heel.

14 DOUBLE WIND BLOWS AGAINST EARS
Turn slightly to the right, bring both hands in front of you, palms up, then bring both hands down as you step forward with your right foot, slightly to the right. As your hands reach your waist, make two fists, as you shift your weight forward on your right foot, bring both hands forward, punching opponents both ears.

15 TURN AND HEEL KICK LEFT
Shift weight to the left foot, open both hands turning body and pivot on right heel point to SouthEast. Bring both hands down, weight on right foot, raise both hands, palms facing in, right hand in, left hand out, palms facing in, on left toe. Circle both hands outward, lift the left knee. Push right hand back and left hand forward, at the same time, kick forward with the left heel.

16 RIGHT - SNAKE CREEPS DOWN - GOLDEN COCK STANDS ON ONE LEG - LEFT
Bring left foot back beside the right foot on the left toe. Grasp with the right hand, circle the left hand over to the right hand, palm facing outwards. Bend the right knee as far as possible and stretch the left foot to the side with the toes pointing at South. Turn the left toe to the east, lower the left hand along the body down to the left foot. Shift weight to the left foot.
LEFT - SNAKE CREEPS DOWN - GOLDEN COCK STANDS ON ONE LEG - Point left foot to NorthEast and move the left hand up until the fingers are at shoulder height. Elbow bent. Lower right hand open hand with palm facing inward. Move the right hand forward and up until the fingers are at shoulder height; Lift the right leg up until the thigh is parallel to the floor. Lower the left hand to the waist with the palm facing down.

17 GOLDEN COCK STANDS ON ONE LEG - RIGHT
Lower the right foot next to the left foot, turn to the North. Grasp with the left hand, circle the right hand over to the left hand, palm facing outwards. Bend the left knee as far as possible and stretch the right foot to the side with the foot pointing at South. Turn the right foot to the east, lower the right hand along the body down to the right foot. Shift weight to the right foot.
GOLDEN COCK STANDS ON ONE LEG - Point right foot to East and move the right hand up until the fingers are at shoulder height. Elbow bent. Lower left hand open hand with palm facing inward. Move the left hand forward and up until the fingers are at shoulder height; Lift the left leg up until the thigh is parallel to the floor . Lower the right hand to the waist with the palm facing down.

18 WORK AT SHUTTLES -RIGHT, LEFT
SOUTH-EAST - Step forward with the left foot pointing at East Move the right foot next to the left with the toes pointing to the floor. Ball on the left, left palm is above the right step the right foot forward to SouthEast. Shift the weight to the right leg with the knee bent. Turn the right hand upward with palm facing out, push the left hand forward with palm facing out.
NORTH-EAST - Shift weight to the right leg with the right knee bent. On the left toe. Make a ball on the right, right palm is above the left. Step the left foot forward to NorthEast Shift the weight to the left leg with the knee bent. Turn the left hand upward push the left hand forward.

19 NEEDLE AT SEA BOTTOM
Right foot half step forward, left foot, on the left toe. Move the arm backwards and upward (like a train engine). Push the right palm down with the fingers pointing down, left hand over the right.

20 FAN THROUGH THE BACK
Raise up, move the right arm up to guard above the forehead and the left arm following with the left palm both palms facing forward. Step forward with the left foot.

21 TURN TO DEFLECT DOWNWARD, PARRY & PUNCH
Shift the weight to the right leg. Turn the left heel SouthWest, circle left hand up forward, right hand down and back . When the right hand is down, make a fist, step the right foot West. As you move forward punching with the back of the fist (Parry).Move the left hand the fingers pointing forward. Step the left foot forward and shift the weight to the left leg with the knee bent.Continue to move the right fist backwards, palm up then turn fist forward and punch under the left hand, palm down. Move the left palm under the elbow and slide the palm along the right arm move back and push forward.

22 APPARENT CLOSURE
Shift the weight to the right leg. Lift the left foot and turn the toes to face North. Make a big circle with both hands out, then down,

23 CROSS HANDS
Shift the weight to until both legs weighted equally. Lower both hands down and cross when both hands fully lowered with the right hand inside. Move both hands upward and cross at the waist level with the right hand outside.Continue to raise the hands until chest level with the hands still crossed

24 CLOSING FORM
Turn both hands palms down. Slowly lower your hands by your side. Shift weight to the left foot and bring both feet together, finally straighten your fingers to point down.
